Be Not Afraid: 2009-2010 Retreat Theme

|
Since 1720, when St. Paul of the Cross founded the Passionist Order, Passionist priests, religious, and lay associates have offered retreats that allow people time to reflect on their lives and deepen their relationship with God. Our two centuries of retreat-hosting experience enable us to design retreats that provide our guests with the perflect blend of conferences, workshops and quiet time. Discover the peace that God has already given to you.
Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center is a spiritual center in the Passionist tradition, open to all who seek to deepen their relationship with God and one another. We welcome men, women, and youth to weekend, day and evening retreats, and programs where they can journey with God in an atmosphere of respect and hospitality. Consistent with our tradition, we are a community that values spiritual development, the holy word, creative ritual, and the sacred in our world.

2009-2010 Weekend Retreat Schedule
Our retreat theme, "Be Not Afraid: Living in God’s Care," will explore the fears that can run deep in our lives and can cause us to doubt our abilities, our gifts and even our faith. It is amazing to realize the power we give to our fearsmuch more so than what we give to the sense of possibility in our lives. But the antidote to fear is hope, and that is exactly what we are offered through the message of Christ in the Gospels. It is a real hope rooted in the belief that out of the most difficult situations good can come, transformation can take place and we can live as God's beloved ones yet again.
