Real Life Girlfriends 2010 Spring Women's Retreat
Mission Critical: Rescuing a Woman's Heart
You’re probably pondering, “Why go on a retreat?” The simple truth is, as women, we seldom take the time to be still and know God, because of our daily routines, and we focus on our long to do list, rather than our relationship with God. We often neglect friendships because we are too busy to assess the direction of our life and relationships. Today, our busy lives choke stillness and self-examination and how can we build our relationship with God, when we seldom stop, look and listen to Him? How can our lives be balanced and joyful if we never stop to Refresh, Renew, Revive & Refill? We give and give until we are running on empty.
This retreat will offer a place where women of all walks of life, churches, and denominations will have the opportunity to share their lives and the love of God with each other. We will be RESCUED, for a weekend to rest, relax, have fun, enjoy great food, and make new friends, and most importantly renew our faith! We have faith that when you leave this retreat, you will return home to your family and your church with a renewed mind, body, spirit and a new perception of God’s purpose for your life.
Guest Speakers include: Pastor Terry Owen, Real Life Church,Port St. Lucie Florida, Pastor Angie Derksen, West Coast Word Church, Tarpon Springs, FL, Penny Riddle, Word of Life Ministries, Blue Ridge, Texas and Rose Smith, Real Life Church, Port St. Lucie, FL
Retreat leader: Rosetta Smith
Rosetta (Rose) Smith is a member of Real Life Church, Port St. Lucie Florida where her Pastor, Kurt Owen, appointed her to serve as leader of the women's ministry, Real Life
Girlfriends. After overcoming a difficult divorce, Rose has a passion to encourage women in their faith during challenging times.
God has given Rose the victory during difficult circumstances, and she desires to pass this hope on to other women. Rose attended San Jose State University and is currently employed with Fort Pierce Police Department.

Founded in 1996, Parbawatiya Center was the first center of Kadampa Buddhism to be established in Florida.
The Center owns a beautiful and peaceful house just off Main Street in downtown Safety Harbor. Situated conveniently close to the Courtney Campbell Causeway, the Howard Franklin Bridge, and US Highway 19 North, the Center is easily accessible from anywhere in the Tampa Bay area.
Just five minutes' walk from the famous Safety Harbor Spa, the Center offers a delightful spacious meditation room, bookstore, meditation garden, and comfortable sitting areas for socializing.
"Parbawatiya" (pronounced "Par-bah-wah-tee-ya") is the name of a female Buddha of Wisdom. This Sanskrit name literally means "Radiant Dawn" and refers to the blissful wisdom consciousness of an enlightened being.
