Swim with the Manatees
Nov 17, 18, 19 2009 & Feb 9,10, 11, 2010- Peace & Gentleness
In Crystal River Florida the Manatees 'winter'. It's the best place on the planet to swim with these gentle mammals. Over 300 Manatees gather in the Crystal River bay. 'The Three Maidens' is the name of the crystal clear magical springs where we will swim with these emissaries of Peace and Gentleness.
I" recommend this Journey for anyone wanting more peace, more flow, more not getting triggered, stressed by the world around them. Someone wanting their world to flow more smoothly, more easily will benefit greatly from this trip. The reason I originally wanted to experience the wisdom of the Manatees was to allow, receive, accept the spirit of Allowing, Receiving, Acceptance into my life as an energy that would assist me in dealing with the world around me, in work, in personal relationships and with family. "Yield to overcome" is a saying among master martial artists. This is another way to describe the wisdom of the Manatees"

Pricing: $695 includes 'Sanctuary for Souls' - Retreat & 3 days swimming with Manatees.

Founded in 1996, Parbawatiya Center was the first center of Kadampa Buddhism to be established in Florida.
The Center owns a beautiful and peaceful house just off Main Street in downtown Safety Harbor. Situated conveniently close to the Courtney Campbell Causeway, the Howard Franklin Bridge, and US Highway 19 North, the Center is easily accessible from anywhere in the Tampa Bay area.
Just five minutes' walk from the famous Safety Harbor Spa, the Center offers a delightful spacious meditation room, bookstore, meditation garden, and comfortable sitting areas for socializing.
"Parbawatiya" (pronounced "Par-bah-wah-tee-ya") is the name of a female Buddha of Wisdom. This Sanskrit name literally means "Radiant Dawn" and refers to the blissful wisdom consciousness of an enlightened being.

Hello Mandala Friends!
Join us at our new times and our new location at Griffin’s Loft, Davie, Florida.
Other dates and times can be arranged at your home or at a location of your choice.
Both individual and group Mandala Workshops are available. In addition to the spiritually oriented Mandala Workshops, more secularly oriented workshops are also possible, for team building, for families, or as a group project working on a single Mandala such as a mural.
Workshops can also be tailored for children, adults, seniors, or the disabled. Lots of exciting opportunities are available, so feel free to inquire!
PLEASE NOTE: No art experience is necessary and all art materials are provided, along with a packet, in the workshops.
Mandalas are circular designs used for centuries by cultures all over the world for healing. Their intrinsic nature is to bring wholeness and balance to you. There are many levels to the study and making of mandalas. Our visual form is unique and tends to be more Jungian and organic rather than geometric like the Tibetan. The workshop process of making a mandala involves an introduction to mandalas, cleansing, meditation, music, and a body-centered approach to help create the images of the mandala. A debriefing and discussion wrap it up. Color and shape references for each individual student are explored.
