Serenity: Deepening the Twelve Steps
This retreat is an experience of deepening the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. It includes an overview of all steps and will involve a lot of participation. The emphasis will be on the spiritual dimension of the 12 step process.
Presenter: Sr. Paulinus Oakes, a chaplain at St. Dominic's Hospital's drug and alcohol unit. Sr. Paulinus received her certification at the Tau Center in Baton Rouge.

Rebuilding: When Relationships End
Depending on the choices made, divorce can be a passage to deeper truths about one's self or it can be a road that leads nowhere.
This workshop will provide each participant with the knowledge and support needed to begin creating a healthy relationship with his/her authentic self. From this foundation participants will learn how to foster mature and fulfilling relationships with others.

Presenter: Becky Posey Williams, LCSW. Becky has 25 years experience working with individuals and families in a clinical setting. She teaches divorce recovery ministry for Crossgates United Methodist Church in Jackson and also teaches court mandated FOCIS (Focus On Children In Separation) classes for divorcing parents, through Rankin County courts.
