Lord Teach Us to Pray; Discovering Jesus' Life of Prayer.
Sessions meet on the second Saturdays of each month from 9:00 AM - Noon at Servanthood House.
Using the four Gospels as primary sources, this course will explore Jesus’ life of prayer, including his quiet personal prayer, his prayer at synagogue and temple, his teaching about prayer, his contemplative experiences, and the consequences of his prayer for his personal life and his active engagement with society. This study, in the context of reflection and prayer, will enable you to relate Jesus’ prayer to your own personal prayer, parish spiritual formation, and the relationship between prayer and active involvement in society.
