St. Anthony Spirituality Center stands gracefully amid pines, maples, and birch, nestled on the bank of the Rib River. Enjoy the 45 acres as you walk the trails, looking for wildlife. Rest in the screen house and listen to the birds. Walk the labirynth. Build a fire in the firepit as darkness unfolds.
St. Anthony Spirituality Center is a community, a staff, and a place rooted in the Gospel of Jesus as lived out joyfully by St. Francis of Assisi. We provide atmosphere, guidance, and support for people of all beliefs and financial backgrounds who are searching to become more fully human-more deeply connected with God, self, others, and creation.

“Following Jesus: Beyond Belief”
Following Jesus is much more difficult than just believing in him. Discover the beauty and challenge of genuine discipleship.
"This people honors Me with their lips," Jesus said, "but their hearts are far from Me." Jesus was looking for people who would believe in Him not just with their lips and heads but with their entire lives: "Follow Me!" That's His same desire today. And of course, following Him is far more difficult and challenging than just believing in Him! This retreat will help us discover the beauty and challenge of genuine discipleship and the fulfilling joy it opens up to us all.

- “Waking Up to This Day” with Paula D’Arcy
Sunday Saturday, July 11-17, 2010
Paula D’Arcy’s last retreat at Siena Center received wonderful reviews, and we are pleased she’s returning for a full week this summer.
We’ll focus on waking up to the day that is right before us, and the practices that help us experience a deeper intimacy with ourselves, others, and all that is. Our guideposts will be nine keys that summon us to live in the present moment and accept the perfection of life as it unfolds.
The week includes silence at meals and between meeting times, to help us access the deeper force and purpose that lie beneath our daily activities. Paula will present two sessions daily with time for discussion, and instruction on how to structure and use the gift of a silent retreat. There will also be an opportunity to creatively express our experiences through art. $500.
- Contemplative Retreat for Women
July 18-24, 2010
The retreat theme is Heart Peace, and the week offers a blend of daily individual direction, feminine energy, and ritual. This is primarily a silent retreat, with optional time for sharing, holistic prayer , and conversation. Directors are Kathleen Bohn, OP; Judy Chiodo, OSF; Judith Christopher; Paula Hirschboeck; Gail Ross; Pat Shutts; and Linda Wieser, OSF. $450
- Nurturing Life’s Blessings
July 25-31, 2010
Embrace and nurture all of life’s blessings through a daily meeting with a director, solitude, and the opportunity for common prayer.
