Whispering Winds Retreat Haven is a spiritual retreat house, a place to be still and be renewed by the Spirit of God. The house itself is a remodeled farmhouse located on the edge of Cambridge, Wisconsin, 30 minutes east of Madison, 2 hours northwest of Chicago. It is surrounded by 3 acres of lawn and gardens – a quiet, peaceful setting. The house has 4 private guest rooms, each with a private bath, and several comfortable meeting rooms.

Whispering Winds welcomes individuals and small groups for daytime and overnight retreats of any duration, from a couple hours of quiet meditation at the end of a busy day, to a day or two, a week or two, or a month or more of time away.

RETREAT OFFERINGS
Whispering Winds presents one or two public retreats a month. The retreats are usually a day or a day-and-a-half long. The retreats include time for prayer, reflection, meditation, and sharing. Recent retreat themes include: finding balance in your life, seeking God’s wisdom in life decisions, the wisdom of the mystics, and the Lord’s Prayer as a guide to meditation.

Whispering Winds is ecumenical, welcoming guests from a variety of Christian traditions and other faith experiences. Spiritual directors are available by appointment.

Welcome to Siena Retreat Center, located on the shore of Lake Michigan betwene Milwaukee and Chicago.
Retreat housing includes 76 private bedrooms with common bath facilities.
In addition to an auditorium that seats 250, there are several lounges and meeting rooms available for groups of 2 to 72. Siena Center has elevator access to all floors and is accessible to people with moderate physical limitations.

This retreat offers a space for those who want to go consciously and become more familiar with the inner riches, the inner depth and mysteries, and find a balanced and creative approach to life.
It is a space to allow authentic silence without getting trapped in seriousness, comparison and competition.
It is to recognize the wonder and the beauty of the life that we have so that we can live it gracefully and in gratitude. The methods used in the retreat can be applied further in the life-process so that it is not just doing the retreat and then going back into the old settlement in the usual way; but the retreat can be a context to reconnect to our inner source so that we can also continue to deepen the consciousness in the day-to-day living beyond the retreat. Besides the different indications and the supportive explanations there will also be room for questions and individual meetings.
