Michele Cosentini
(Owner/Facilitator): I am a professional vocalist and artist, as well as a community volunteer who, along with facilitator Karen Kohr, has spent the last 5 years coordinating enrichment programs for children ages 5 - 11.

After a 10 year career working for a major investment firm, I left to pursue a career that would allow me to align my skills with my passion for music and art and became the Creative Director for Journeys Community. As such, I create and facilitate programs that allow attendees to explore their spirituality, both personally and in connection with others utilizing contemporary art, video, music, literature, meditation and personal reflection.

I have spent the past fifteen years studying the impact of nutrition on physical and emotional well-being. Consequently, I've experienced great success in the health of my family, particularly with my son, a special needs child who has responded to a nutritional healing approach in many surprising ways.

I
truly understand the importance of balancing all aspects of life, the emotional, physical and the spiritual, in order to live life to the fullest. My personal mission is to create interesting, unique experiences that will allow people to deepen their self awareness, connect with others, and to live life with joy.

Email Carey

careycreed.com

Carey is an award-winning singer/songwriter and performer whose folk- and jazz-inspired music can bring your heart and mind to a better place through poetry, pathos and humor--with a little backbeat.
The songs Carey performs are never preachy or doctrinaire, yet they invite the listener to dig deep--and you can hear both Saturday night and Sunday morning in her music.
She has a lofty goal: to affect people the way one critic wrote about her work. "Carey Creed is...well, different. Thank God! She infuses [the lyrics] with such expression, such spirit, that they are literally transformed into some higher, more precious metal, and one is aware of witnessing a quiet miracle." (Anna Garris Goiser, Women Today).

"Creed has a lovely voice, a soprano that brings a certain purity to the performances on 'Peace of Wild Things.' Creed's voice is as warm as it is naturally tuneful...Many well-known performers in the Washington area contribute to the album's charms..."
Mike Joyce, The Washington Post
