Rev. Dr. Linda Marie Nelson is a fully ordained Inter-Faith Minister whose apostolic mission is to facilitate and mentor those on the Spiritual Path, within any religious structure… those who seek to deepen their personal relationship with God...the God of Love Who Is Ever-Present within our Sacred Center…our Sacred Heart.

Spiritual exercises, prayer, meditation, study groups, spiritual retreats, Labyrinth walks, mentoring, and life coaching are some of the ways to deepen our Divine Relationship with the God of Love.

My ministry is devoted to inviting others to understand and to embrace the Spiritual Truth that God is Love and God is Light and that we are all created in the image and likeness of God…all women and all men…and to spread the Good News that God is WITHIN our hearts…ever Present.

To that end I enjoy facilitating retreats and study groups, as well as offering seminars and lectures on a variety of topics. My ministry includes relationship counseling, performing marriage ceremonies, officiating at memorial services, and speaking at various churches on my favorite scripture, “The Beatitudes.”

To quote one of my beloved spiritual mentors and cherished friend, Rev. Dr. Bob Estling, Senior Minister and Founder of the Seraphim Center in Gainesville, Florida: “The Good News is…there is ONLY Good News.”

Pat is a certified spiritual director and retreat leader who marvels at the profound love our God has for each of Her/His creations. He is a graduate of the Ignatian Spirituality Institute at John Carroll University and is completing his MA in Pastoral Ministry at Boston College in 2008. Pat is thankful for the impact the Spiritual Exercises have had on his life since he silently celebrated his 20th birthday while making the 30-day retreat in 1974. He has led retreats and discernment workshops for a wide variety of church and social service organizations. He is married to Jeannie Cleary-Burns and lives in South Euclid, Ohio. Patrick Cleary-Burns is available to lead the following retreat programs: PHEW! A weekend of support, respite and celebration for those who minister among God’s People. We will remember, celebrate, lament, and recommit to our call as ministers of the kingdom and explore a variety of abundant wellness ideas and techniques. Where Next Lord? A weekend retreat for college seniors who are seeking to discern how our Loving God is calling them to live in the ‘real’ world. How can they continue to blossom spiritually once away from the safe, creative home of their campus ministry program? Following As our communities change and evolve, parishes and parish organizations need to grow, adjust, and/or redefine themselves. This day or weekend retreat will help the community discern prayerfully together how the Spirit is guiding them. Retreats Within Daily Life for Individuals God wants to meet us where we live. Most retreats expect you to go away to a retreat house. This retreat offers a full experience of the St. Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises for the retreatant at home with the support of a spiritual director. Meetings with the director will be once a week at a mutually agreeable location. Pat can refer retreatants who live outside the Greater Cleveland area to other experienced directors.

Credentials: I am a peer, and lay, worship and retreat leader for Christian women, believing that our own experiences shared may be the best mentoring. I am a Lutheran by congregational membership and ecumenical and non-denominational in soul and spirit, believing that we all have something to share with each other. I have led sessions on identifying and using your gifts, looking for more "Spirit" in your life, "What Are You Hungering and Thirsting FOR?", Letting Love Light Your Life. I have led a spiritual growth group of 12 for 5 years, meeting once a week, having chosen curriculae and program. I am an accomplished musician and use music freely in my sessions. I would be available to lead sessions in established retreats.
